Hello! Paul Davis here from the Hounslow Online team.

We have made big changes to the site and to how it will function and are therefore auditing our membership. The site's focus will increasingly be on people, organisations and businesses and how they can all network together to improve life in Hounslow, Heston & Isleworth.

REAL NAMES

In the forthcoming weeks we will be changing the site so that it uses Real Names instead of aliases. This is because we feel the site needs to be for people who want to make a difference locally and not be a refuge for anonymous lurkers.

If this is not up your street then please see the instructions for deleting your account below. We'll be sorry to lose you but hope you'll come back one day.

DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

If you no longer wish to be a member or simply do not use the site please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Alternatively you can login and delete your profile by going to:

PROFILE > EDIT PROFILE > DELETE MY PROFILE (on the right)

MEMBER PROFILE TYPES

Hounslow Online is introducing Member Profile Types to help residents, organisations & businesses better connect. Each profile type has different fields to fill. The profile types available are:

1) RESIDENT
2) BUSINESS
3) NON-PROFIT
4) HOUNSLOW ONLINE TEAM (requires approval - if you wish to join the team get in touch!)

From now on new members be asked to choose a member profile type when they first register but existing members will have to login and select a member profile type.

This is done as follows:

1) Login and select MY PROFILE from the menu
2) Select PROFILE > EDIT PROFILE
3) Click "Change" where it says "Your Current Profile Type: Default"
4) Select your appropriate profile type and fill in the fields.

If you haven't done already upload a picture (avatar) for your profile to make it stand out. This is can be done by clicking on "Change profile picture" on your profile page.
