Tucked away in the corner of Asda'a undergound car park is a wonderful chap from Poland who runs a car wash with his wife and son.

Prices start at £6 for a basic wash and dry. Full valeting is also available. My ageing Mazda is now a weekly visitor and even my usually critical boyfriend admits it looks beautiful.

The car park seems to be one of Hounslow's best kept secrets. Empty enough to avoid door dinks and free parking for two hours if you spend a fiver in Asda.
