HORSE RANGERS BAND PERFORMS FOR ST GEORGE AT WHITTON - SAT April 21 2012
On Saturday, St George’s Day is being celebrated in Whitton and members of the Horse Rangers Band from the youth charity at Hampton Court will be providing some of the musical entertainment.
The Horse Rangers’ Riding for Disabled section will also be holding a stall to raise much-needed funds for the two squadrons of youngsters who attend each week to learn about horse management.
The Annual St George’s Day parade in Whitton starts at 11am on the High Street and there will be lots of entertainment for all age groups from 9am.
Although this event is purely a celebration there is a growing campaign across England to mark St George’s Day as a Bank Holiday just like the Scots have with their national Saint Andrew and Ireland with St Patrick’s Day.

My name's Charlie Costin. For about 5 years now i've been singing Swing / Jazz.
The reason i've put this advertisement out is to try and assemble and Swing / Jazz band together to do a performance in April time at The Waterman's Theatre in Brentford for around 240 people.
I've perfomed there several times before butit was only using backing tracks. I thought it would be brilliant if I could get some people together to actually have a live band for this one night show, and of course just get together with some good people!
