Subject: Building a bird box, a solitary beehive or a log pile for insects – are simple and effective measures to improve the outlook for wildlife. A living roof, wildflower bed and pond are more ambitious projects but yield greater wildlife interest.
This workshop caters for both a passing interest and the enthusiast – people wishing to understand a bit more about the organisms in the soil and those wishing to create a haven for wildlife. David Perkins, Education Officer at Roots and Shoots, has been a wildlife enthusiast in both a personal and professional capacity for most of his life. His passion for wildlife should ensure this workshop has something for everyone.
