Can you host 2 volunteers in your home?

We are currently appealing for people in Hounslow and surroundings to host pairs of 18-22 year old volunteers involved in this exciting youth volunteer exchange programme between Zambia and Hounslow. Any home can host; families, singles, flat-shares and couples all welcome.

Could you or your family benefit from a unique cultural exchange?
Would you like to learn more about another culture and have an international experience from the comfort of your own home?
Could you host 2 volunteers (1 from UK and 1 from Zambia) for anything between 2 weeks and 12 weeks from July – September 2012?
Do you have one or two spare rooms with separate beds? Volunteers can share a room.

Global Xchange provides:

A weekly allowance to cover food costs and utilities
Volunteers who have gone through a selection process and training
A briefing for you before the volunteers arrive
Two programme supervisors on hand for support whenever necessary

Just before I left Hounslow for Hull, I noticed that someone was fitting out the old Woolworths store to be what was looking like the world's biggest pound store.

Can anyone provide an update on the store, what's it called, any pictures? Cheers!
