The Hounslow Community Land Project is based on an empty piece of land at Clarence Terrace on the Hanworth Road, opposite the old Bar Bhangra. The site is owned by TfL, who intend to build a bus depot there, but we are operating as a mean-time project, opening up the site for public use until it is built on. The site comprises a large grassy area suitable for sports pitches, and also a semi-wooded area suitable for a public park space. This is an open source project, and anybody with ideas and spare time is most welcome to come and get involved with designing the site layout. Public meetings will be arranged where you can come and share your views. We would like to know how you think this space should be used, so please use the discussion post below to suggest ideas.
