Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow Samaritans has urged anyone in the area affected by the tragic events in Mumbai to feel free to call the organisation, which offers a non-directional, non-judgmental listening service to anyone in emotional distress, including those who are experiencing suicidal feelings.

Hounslow Council Leader Peter Thompson shared his vision for a strong and united borough when he met representatives from the local Muslim community at Hounslow Jamia Mosque last week. (Friday, 21 November).
A popular local tree has been named as one of the 'Great Trees of London' after being voted onto a new top twenty list of beautiful and historically significant trees.
The London Borough of Hounslow is encouraging local parents, students, teaching staff and members of the community to help recognise local unsung heroes by nominating them for a Teaching Award.
