‘Super sewer’ proposals will continue to be challenged

Hounslow Council’s Leader, Peter Thompson, has assured local residents that the authority will continue to challenge Thames Water’s proposals for a ‘super sewer’ access shaft in the east of the borough.
The Christmas lights will shine proudly in Chiswick once again this year, thanks to ongoing support from Fuller’s, London’s only traditional family brewer, and Hounslow Council.
The 2M campaign against further Heathrow expansion was boosted last week (Tuesday, 11 November) after both main opposition parties confirmed that in addition to scrapping any proposal for a third runway, they would keep runway alternation.
Hounslow Council has welcomed the Mayor of London’s plans to deliver a multi-billion pound programme to increase the capital’s transport network by nearly 30% over the next 10 years.
Brentford safely navigated their way through a tricky FA Cup 1st round tie down on the south coast as they beat last year's giant killers Havant & Waterlooville 3-1 in front of a live TV audience.
